As i am working towards developing my skillset for becoming a character artist, i have used this first half of 2021 taking a likeness course through ArtHeroes.
My subject of choice was Nathalie Dormer. Since i am fairly new to sculpting realistic female faces i figured that her characteristic features would be a good challenge to visualize.
The process of knowing where to look when sculpting faces is a interesting process, which delves back and forth from creating correct anatomy and volume, to reading shapes and getting the right feel for the model at hand.
