Sentience (Title Sequence)
Title sequence assignment from 2016.
This was a title sequence assignment and the first group project I worked on. I tell you what, there's nothing more fun than jamming with a group of talented and hard-working friends on a creative project.
I pitched the idea of a title sequence for a HBO show set in Isaac Asimov's robot universe. The four of us all brought our own skill sets to the table and I felt like it worked out being better than I envisioned.
Personally, I did some of the modelling and animation (the cell division & hexagonal corridor) as well as editing and overall project management. Billy Sullivan worked on the more complex modelling; Michael Welst on animation and technical elements; and Zada Herbert on lighting and texturing. I even roped in a friend of mine, Ben deHoedt, to do the music.
I would gladly work with any of those guys again. It was such a rewarding experience and I'm still proud of it.
