Old Stone Rock Walls
An assignment done for ART 218 at Miami University in Oxford.
These are my models for a few old stone rock walls that I did for an assignment in ART 218 at Miami University in Oxford. Our goal for this assignment was essentially to create a normal textured wall, and then create an alternate "windowed" version. For my interpretation on this, I decided not to do a traditional window, and instead made a broken opening to my wall instead. While I'm overall satisfied with what I did, this assignment was definitely the most painful to me. As in, I kept messing up the UV orientations, and had to constantly go back and forth from Maya and Substance Painter to fix the issues. As well, I probably took the hard way to make the hole by using mostly just the Multi-cut tool. Maybe there was an easier way, but I wasn't sure at the time.
