Head Turn (51 Animation Exercises)
Continuing my way through the 51 Animation Exercises, recently finished no 4 - a simple head turn.
For this shot, I wanted to practice going through each stage; reference, blocking, polish etc. I thought it would also be an excellent opportunity to get used to working from acting reference.
After implementing some great feedback from my mentors, I then wanted to plus the shot by adding set dressing to create leading lines, adding a slow camera dolly to support the acting, and take the opportunity to light and comp the shot too.
