Weekly Drill #31 - Mayan priest hat

I have been looking for a very long time for an inspiration of hats. I wanted to do something original and not so typical. I'm a big fan of old civilizations and got an idea of doing a mayan priest hat. I found a really cool reference of it. To challenge myself a bit I also decided to make it look more stylised.
