This is part of the work I did for the amazing Jama Jurabaev's mentorship Concept Art for Movies late last year. Our theme was Project Waterworld for the Beginner Tier. This was an incredible experience and I learned a so much about visual development and art for film productions. I used Blender and Photoshop.

This is part of the work I did for the amazing Jama Jurabaev's mentorship Concept Art for Movies late last year. Our theme was Project Waterworld for the Beginner Tier. With an art department pipeline for film in mind, we started with heavy focus into ideation, film compositions, lensing, framing, etc. Moved into sketching and asset creation/gathering in Blender. Then worked on prop/environment designs and assembled our scenes for keyframes. I used EEVEE pretty much up till the end where I switched to Cycles. Then painted up images in Photoshop.
This mentorship was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I recommend it to anyone who is interested!
