Howdy all, I made churros as part of the new weekly drills.
After noodling for hours between Blender and Cinema 4d, I decided to sculpt the base mesh in ZbrushCore. After which, I imported the model into Blender and then tried to figure out the texture for the model. After a few trial and errors with using a particle system, I decided to use nodes for texturing along with the displacement. That process took almost 3 hours to figure out. After rendering out the churro in 3 different directions and rotations, I took them into photoshop, isolated each group and made a graphic.
