Round of applause for our sponsors

I started taking photographs when I was 15, I loved how they came out but at the same time I wanted something more, playing video games I understood tha CG could be my opportunity to create something stunning!

Born in Senigallia(AN) but moved to Milan. I have been passionate about CG, biology, and sci-fi since I was a kid. During my studies at IED Milan, I specialized as a 3D Character/Creature Artist for both videogame and movie pipelines, at the same time I continued to cultivate my passion for Digital Drawing and Concept Art. https://www.instagram.com/ame.quasidesigner/

I've always had a pencil in my hand (or so my mother says!), so in my head, the path was clear and led to the creative industry.

Since I can remember animation has always been my greatest passion. I always knew my future would be in the world of CGI, so, after graduating from high school, I attended the CGA course at IED academy in Rome. Acquired the degree, I specialized in Digital Sculpting. Now I’m ready to give my contribution in the world of animation and CGI, to face and learn from unexpected that I will find on my path, and to create something magical too! Always follow your passions!

I always loved to create things, doing it digitally and in three dimensions made me fall in love with it

I was only a kid when I started playing Final Fantasy X. The way I was thrilled by the story, the music, the characters; those are some of the things that made me say "This is all I want to make for the rest of my life". I always saw videogames as a powerful way to reach people's heart and excite them. Thanks to those who made such great stories, now I want to make part among those developers, and maybe put a smile on the next generations.

As a child, when I watched Kung Fu Panda, I was already very curious about how they did those spectacular effects and so I started doing some research and started as a self-taught person.

I always been fascinated by sculptures and forms. As I kid I used to play with plastiline and growing up my passion for videogames, cinematics and vfx movies makes me understand that I could join the two things into a 3d character artist career. I know it's hard, but I'm giving everything to realize my dream. I just started three years ago with Ied Milano and I can't wait to get into this competitive industry.

I always wanted to work in creative industries as a big fan of disney and dreamworks myself!

I am Andrea Martignon, a former student at IED Milano. I am a young man in search of a job that can stimulate me to learn the tricks of the trade and connect with people in my field of work. I am passionate about learning and I am committed to mastering the ZBrush pipeline by going through all the steps until the final rendering.

When I was younger I was impressed by the stunning attention to visual and creative detail in video games or CGI films, I thought how nice it would be to work on the other side of the desk, no more be just a spectator but create something on my own.

I have spent many hours of my life customizing video game's characters, environment and making things more and more personal. When the university started I realized how much in love I was with 3D modeling, Texturing and lighting.

Since I was a child I have always been mesmerized by the art of cinema and its ability to tell and create impossible realities. Start working to become part of this magic was just a natural call.

Since I was a kid I was always very interested in drawing stuff. Making art out of the ideas that came trough my mind was the only thing I ever wanted to work on when I grow up as an adult. Now Im learning how to correctly transform the ideas into concepts, and illustrations. And also working in a few projects for myself.

From the first image modified in photoshop I have never stopped, I have expanded my knowledge ranging between various fields up to motion graphics in 3d which gave me the necessary freedom to do anything.

I always wanted to be an artist growing up, I just wasn't quite sure in what area specifically. I loved learning to use my pc and drawing, and when I discovered I could do both, I learned to paint digitally on Photoshop. After high school I decided to start a degree in Computer Graphics, which gave me the general basics of the VFX industry, but what really caught my attention since the first presentation day of the course was modeling characters and creatures in Zbrush. .

When I was just a kid. I loved playing videogames and watching 3D animated movies.

When I found out how I can turn my imagination to real

Right from my first year at IED, I was absolutely certain that I wanted to be a part of the CGI industry, and my ultimate goal was to work in the video game industry.

When I was a kid, when I felt like drawing was my confiding friend.

As a teen, looking back at the impact video games had on me

My story began at IED back in 2013, since then I’ve been up to many things. Now I like working alone as an indie developer
