Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
Around the age of 8, when i played The elder Scrolls V : Skyrim for the first time which was also the very first time i played a video game and i got blown away by the fact that it was possible of actually building imaginary worlds and let people go around and evolve inside of them interacting with its story the people in it. From that point on, i always wanted to be one of those bringing these worlds to life, making it possible for the many to experience new stories.
I realised that I wanted to work in creative industries at the age of 13 when I started to create maps on a game called RecRoom, which offers the player the opportunity to create maps & experiences for others to enjoy by using some primitive shapes & a nodal system for coding. After some time I started to compete in some contests with prize pools and made it three times to the 3rd place & two times to the 1st place. It made me enjoy the creative industry and made me wanna make it my work.
I realized my passion and desire to create and innovate in video games when I played Detroit: Become Human for the first time. Discovering such possibilities, transmitting so many emotions through interactive storytelling and game design made me want to create and share with people. Making them dream and leave their world to transport them into new adventures within the game is for me the greatest accomplishment.
I have always known I wanted to work in a creative field, it just changed as I grew up and tried new mediums. I knew I wanted to work in animation when I was in high school, though it was as a concept artist then and now it is as a 3D rigger. I always enjoyed both creative and technical work, and rigging combined both, the more I tried it, the more I fell in love with the craft.
I've always had a fascination for graphics and moving images, from the pictures on basic packaging to the sublime Disney films. As a child, I'd create fake TVs into which I'd slip my drawings, and crudely cut up magazines to make my own layouts and stories. It was quite natural that I moved towards studying applied art. I then continued with a degree in graphic design. Then I felt the need to bring images to life, so I continued my studies in motion design to gain in technique.
I realized that I had a passion for story-making through images, whether it was comics, animated cinema or video games. So I am a visual development artist, in addition, I can do compositing, storyboard, animation, background design, 3D modelling and texturing, creation of 2D assets and many others... yeah I do love create...
During 2018, I was playing Minecraft and I deepened my knowledge about creating a server to play with my friends. I discovered that it was possible to make your own server by developing it and that it has its own image. So I learnt the Skript language and that enabled me to create community servers so that as many people as possible could play on them. These experiences made me realise that development was in my genes. So I said to myself that I had to make developer my job.
