From an early interest in car design in high school- which led to architectural school, where I discovered 3d visualization and animation. Seeing the Third and the Seventh by Alex Roman really showed me the ability of 3d animation to creatively tell stories about the built environment.

I have always loved film and being immersed in a new world; a lush jungle, a frozen tundra, a distant galaxy. While completing my high school art program I discovered matte painting and production design. I immediately became interested in creating new environments.

I always have had interests in the arts as I doodled with pencil and paper in hand since middle school, but I never took it seriously. This changed when I was first introduced to CAD modelling software in university and later in 4-month internships using such tools. Learning those software were primarily intended for engineering design purposes, but it was then I realized I have the right tools make imaginations come alive and augment our taste for art.
