It was the natural progression of my journey as a creative, since from a young age my sole pastime has been creating narratives and stories. I believe games to be the ultimate concentration of all my interests into one single journey.

In the middle of college when I changed my subject from being a biologist to a 3D product designer.

I have been focused on this industry for a few years now. I have done my BA in animation and currently doing my Masters. I have always loved cartoons and now I wish to be part of a team.

The moment I saw my brother play a video game. The characters and concept arts were so beautiful that made me thing: "I want to do this too."

It was when I realised that I spent most of my free time working on creative projects as well as doodling. I found that I really enjoyed being able to create visually what was in my mind.

When I saw a LEGO stop-motion video on YouTube.

I was in year 7 when I realised I wanted to pursue art and enrolled in a school for animation in year 8. When I enrolled at the University of Salford was when I realised I wanted to join the entertainment industry.

I've always had a passion for 3D since school, and went on to to experiment and explore 3D animation, Rigging and Looks Dev at University of Salford as part of the BA Animation. Here I produced several short 3D animations within a team, as well as reserach simulation animation with programmes and plugins such as Houdini, BiFrost in Maya, Advanced Skeleton, and rendering in Arnold.

Hi, to be completely honest I’ve realised that I want to work in this industry not long ago. Ive always enjoyed drawing but recently I’ve learned more about the procedure of bringing life to my ideas. That’s something that excites me and gives me purpose to try and learn as much as I can.

I've always wanted a creative job since I can remember, but when studying graphics and film studies in college I could then see career paths I could go down that would lead me to working in the creative industry. When I started the animation course at uni I originally wanted to create 2D work but after discovering 3D software and motion graphics I could it clicked and I had my lightbulb moment.

When I was mesmerised by the rapidly improving digital graphics in both games and film. From low-triangle low texture resolution assets to photorealistic environments and games, I have grown up seeing these new technologies advance and progressively get to the point of photorealism and I am excited to see where digital graphics goes in the future. Seeing this progression as a young gamer and film fanatic made me aspire to be a 3D artist in both these industries.
