I first realized I wanted to work in creative industries during my studies in communication design. Although I was passionate about design, I felt a strong desire to delve deeper into the digital realm. The idea of bringing objects to life, of imbuing them with motion and personality, truly inspired me. This realization led me to seek opportunities that blended my design background with digital innovation, guiding me towards a fulfilling career in the creative industries.

For as long as I can remember I loved watching animated films and immerse myself in them. During my studies I discovered that I really enjoy creating new 3D-Characters and breathing life into them. Moreover, I am especially fascinated by the mixture of art and technology - there seems to be no limits at all! I am still at the beginning of my artistic work but what I am sure about is that I want to keep doing this for foreseeable future.

I started my journey as a photographer but during my time at university I found my passion in 3D Creation, especially Lighting and Compositing. Movies like Jurassic Park and Godzilla stirred my interest in creature creation while more stylized works are also equally intriguing to me.

During my studies I discovered my passion for character modelling. I love to bring great concepts from amazing character artists into 3D space.

Like many people, animated movies have had the power to mesmerize me since my childhood, and for me, they were always a safe haven. Through the creation of believable CG characters, I want to pass this feeling on to other people.

Back in 2002 there were two key moments for me: When I saw the music video to Reanimation from Linkin Park the first time on MTV. The heads singing and moving almost realistic to the rumbling mechs fighting against aliens whilst small puffy particles danced across the whole scene. Then two weeks later while I booted my shabby old laptop preparing for the next laws course. The desktop background image just loaded and I saw that really photorealistic render of a game character with eyebrows...
