Round of applause for our sponsors

I think it came to me when I quit my old job as a VFX artist. We were doing a lots of overtime, the project were over scoped and the organization was a big mess. My passion for the VFX was slowly fading away. When I sent my application at NAD, I chose to make a big switch and and learn more about the video game industries. I didn't knew what to expect, but that was the best decision I made.

I realized I wanted to be in the digital art industry probably in 9th grade. However, due to some complications, I only joined a 3D and VFX school in 2019.

I struggled for a very long time to find what I wanted to do with my life, mostly because I was worried I would be stuck with something I'd hate. For me, working 9 to 5 Monday to Friday at a place I wouldn't enjoy is torture, so I went ahead and looked at career opportunities in fields that interested me, the biggest being movies and video games, but most importantly, theme parks. I'm also a huge animation fan, so being able to do what I love for a living is fantastic for me!

I've always had a fascination for animated films, but it's only after my first year of CEGEP that I finally drop my sciences courses and enter the world of 3D.

We are a team from school working on our final big project, putting forward all of our individual assets while working seamlessly together.

Ever since I was a child, I had loved movies and I would draw in front of the TV, dreaming of becoming an actress, or a painter. As I grew up, I decided to chanel those passions into something that could combine my childhood dreams. I was watching How To Train Your Dragon when I realized people had created that movie and that I wanted to become a 3D artist. During my following years of studies in 3D animation, I couldn't stop drawing, which confirmed in me that I want to become a concept artist.
