I was always interested into visual forms since I was young, however when I took up designing, is when I realized that animation is the field I want to explore into. Since I was a child, body movements was always my strong point. Dance, yoga, swimming, badminton, were the activities I liked, hence when I took up animation and had a greater understanding of the way it works, is when i decided to narrow down my exploration into character animation, and make body movements as my strong point.

When I was in 4th grade and ever since its been a constant confirmation that I need to help build world in animation that the audience can escape into!

I got inspired by my Dad as looked up to him drawing and painting but VFX is the word that changed my entire path as I found it is one of the strongest languages and an lens to the industry because it can create an entire world that does not even exist and it can create its own world and its physics. This is what kept the child in me alive to be more illusionary with my stories and my thoughts to show to the world and I love the way it works.

Going through my junior school, we used to have various International and national events hosted by the school. I used to work on video editing, logos, flexes and motion graphics for the events opening and closing ceremony videos all over the event. I can confidently say that it was my first time when I realized my passion for the digital Art and Creative industry.

I have always loved drawing and telling stories since I was little. But I think watching Studio Ghibli made me realise how much it means to me.

I was always inclined to a certain sense of aesthetics. This aesthetic found expression in various ways, from the way of my articulation to visualization. It always involved a visual way of being. As stated by Fred R. Barnard, “A picture is worth ten thousand words”. I was always interested in picturising as well as different ways to approach it. I intended to work in such a way that it would align all the aspects I enjoy. This made me pursue a direction in creative media and entertainment.

It was in my second year of graduation at Srishti Institue of Art, Design and Technology that I realized that I love working with stop-motion technique of animation and would be great if I could weave it into my career. I had applied to Srishti with intention of becoming a product designer, but my Dean urged me to try animation and I'm so glad that I did. I was then introduced to stop-motion and fell in love instantly. I came across quite a number of stop-motion feature films, advertisements an

About 5 years ago, where I realized that while I had no interest in pursuing traditional medium, digital art and medium has been a main stay in my life and I'd like to be a part of the amazing works I was exposed to every year from dedicated individuals. It was perfect little slice of fantasy right here on earth.

Coming from a Science background, I found myself interested in the art of Animation during my 12th Grade. Since then, I built up an interest in origami and model building, which lead to working with materials to make characters, landscapes, and basic architecture. World building has always intrigued me throughout my childhood. Animation, as a medium was a discovery for me-it freed me from the conventional style of thinking, and wiped all limitations, granting me the freedom to construct anything.

Since childhood, I have been unknowingly getting used to aspects of the entertainment industry in the form of games, movies etc. I was always intrigued by the way levels were crafted with intention, for eg, the way light was used to guide the player in order for him/her to progress forward in the game and story. Moreover, I would often replicate the artwork that would accompany the game (cover, concept art during installation), and get inspired to create my own scenarios and illustrations.
