A long time ago

A little flame inside of me was rekindled when I had a single class in After Effects and Maya. That’s when I knew which path I wanted to take that would make me happy. So, I got myself a position within a reputable VFX studio, MPC Montreal. Seeing all the magic that was going behind the scenes and these artists working with a fiery passion on their project made me want to walk down the same path as them. That is my reason to wanting to learn more.

Forever, I mean you are talkin' 'bout a kiddo that drew before she learned her ABCs. Yes, I was doodling a lot when I was 3 and my old aunt use to take my drawings to the bar /restaurants our family owned back then and show off to the diners and they would give me 'tips' so you could say, I started earning from art when I was 3. Of cuz, since I grew up in Asia, at a time when every parent is about you are either going to be engineer, or doctor or teacher so... Well, I'm BACK!

Photography, film and contemporary art have been a constant interest, running parallel to my professional life. As I was working in a very different industry, I kept searching for a career field that is creative, dynamic and technical at the same time. The epiphany happened when I was moving back from London to Vancouver last year and was researching the film industry - post production more specifically. That's when I realized compositing is the career field I was searching for.

I had my mind set on film industry since high school. There were other dreams in my life, but this one was always more tangible.
