I think during my first years of university

My real passion for the creative arts industry sparked at the start of high school, when I left the cinema after watching The Hobbit thinking:"Man, it sure would be a dream to be a part of the crew creating such a stunning movie."

When I was in University I studied Mass Communication. After graduating, I had been being a video editor for 5 years. During that time, I had some opportunities to join a couple of projects relating to animations( but not kinds of high-level animations). Anyway, I started to know more about "concept art" and was attracted deeply, so last year I enrolled in Idea Academy in Rome and started my journey to become a concept artist.

When I was a teenager

Since I was small, I enjoyed drawing but I never really had the chance to pursue it until now

I have been seeking creative fulfillment my whole life. As a kid, I used to craft and draw, later I began to embrace photography and film and ended up combining my two interests by choosing the animation industry.

When finishing scientific higschool I undestood that the only thing I really enjoyed doing was art ...

Since my earliest days, I have harbored an abiding passion for the pursuit of a career as a concept artist/visual development artist. As I progressed through my formative years, I diligently pursued every available avenue of education in order to swiftly immerse myself in the industry. As a result of these endeavors, I find myself at present in search of employment prospects within the realm of the creative industries.

Ages ago. I started doing commissions for online game currency by the time I was 13, the rest is history. It's kind of always been my default job plan because nothing else interested me as much. I started out only thinking about concept art for games but lately I've been thinking more and more of expaninding my horizons more as a creative.

After finishing Highschool, I learned that I could study animation and have a roll on the entertainment industry

I want to be honest and not say that I realised it from the moment I was born. Although from a really young age art was always a loyal companion. I grew up with a natural curiosity and eagerness to explore and create. I had a passage throught science (BSc in Chemistry) to understand the world that surrounds us and realized that I want to contribute in making it brighter. So my loyal companion became my life partner and the prospect of working in the entertainment industry my ultimate goal.

As I was taking my bachelor degree in Cinema, I slowly fell in love with the early production of animation movies and video games. Brainstorming, working out ideas, figuring out a story and rules to a world that doesn't exist. It's wonderful to be studying visual development, creating characters and the world around them, taking into account our own experiences and references for it. You get to have a blast while simultaneously making a living out of it.

Three years ago I majored in Italian and English Literature. During that time I took optional classes in European Theatre and Cinema. It was also at that time that my friends and I really got into video games! Studying all of these different medias gave me an idea of the colossal amount of work that came with each project, and made me want to learn more about the creative process behind them. I hope one day to help tell stories in a way that resonates strongly with our audience.

I went to the 'Pixar: 25 Years of Animation' expo in Amsterdam in 2013. For the first time I discovered that there are a lot of artists with different skill sets that work on animated movie. I was already drawing a lot then, but I never really knew what I wanted to do with my art until that moment. This is how I fell in love with the art of animation.
