Round of applause for our sponsors

My whole life I've been creating characters and worldbuilding in my head. I was a 2D digital painter when I started at university where I was exposed to 3D for the first time. Now I'm a 3D character modeller using my background in concept art and creative writing to create characters.

I started paying with photoshop and after effects when I was very little then I progressively learned more and more until I made the big step of moving to the uk where I enrolled to study digital media. During my years at uni I developed a particular passion for vfx and since then I have been pursuing this passion ever since.

About 8 years ago, I started my first undergraduate in a college in Edinburgh, which was film based. I later focused on Digital media and interaction design. My most recent project is a short film that I was the VFX coordinator in.

I was always fascinated by games growing up and came to the realisation that I wanted to base a career around them during school. Combining my love for games and art I ended up with being a 3D games artist.

I always had it at the back of my head

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative industry when I was 15 in high school. Art and Design and Graphic Communication were always my favourite subjects and the one's I did the best in so decided to explore what career options there were. However it wasn't until my third year of University that I decided I wanted to focus on 3D modelling.
