I realized I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry through years of absorbing the different avenues of art. Through films, games, visual art, I realized there was a whole world there that I wanted to contribute to.

I have always had an inclination towards art. During graduation studies from India I pursued film production and journalism that peaked my interest in understanding film animation and computation arts where the amalgamation of technology and arts happen with creating interactive visuals, games and fantasy cinematic worlds. The very idea of being creatively independent where the ideas have no barriers makes me passionately practice and master the craft.

I believe I first realized that I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry in 2016. In that year, I had changed programs at my CEGEP from the Sciences, as I was completing my prerequisites to be able to pursue a career in engineering, into the school's Communications & Studio Arts program. It felt like it was a long time coming as I was always the "art kid" who drew in class but I had never took art seriously until that year and I haven't looked back since.

After I began feeling burnt and defeated in my CEGEP science program, I was wondering how I could make a career out of my drawing skills. Given my immense passion for animated films and the amount of unbridled joy they bring me, I thought it was only fitting to study animation. I knew studying animation would not only allow me to draw a lot and improve my skills, but it would give me an outlet where I could combine my art with storytelling, which is another thing I've always wanted to pursue.

My third year of university we had a 3D modeling class and that's when it finally clicked! I was able to combine my fine arts background with video games, where I can be a material artist, 3D modeler, level artist, maybe an art director...the possibilities are endless!
