When I was young I enjoyed delving into videogames and exploring all of the different scenery. As I grew older and went to highschool I got to take a class in game art that had a focus on 3D modeling and I realized I really enjoyed it.
When I was in highschool I took a game art course and really enjoyed creating props that could be used in a video game. Since then I've taken it upon myself to learn everything I can to break into the 3D art space in the gaming industry.
I have a close relative who taught himself UI/UX and now holds a senior position at Airtable doing what they love, once I found out that I could make a sustainable living from creative work, doing what I love I decided it was the route for me.
