Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I tried to go study in education, after almost a year in my program i realised i didnt see myself doing a job for the rest of my life that wasn’t creative. I took a year, trying to figure out what to do, improving my art skills on my own and then i found the program im in right now, felt too goo to be true, getting paid while having fun and being creative.
I've always been interested in making videos when I was younger or setting up my legos in a certain way, I've always been interested but it's in my senior year of high school that I knew I wanted to be a 3D artist. "CS:GO - Clockwork 4 by NikkyyHD" was the video that pushed me to apply in 3D arts in college.
3 years ago, I decided to change my career. I was working in the entertainment industry as a senior lighting technician for concerts and events and I knew it wasn't for me anymore. I remember that I did some modeling in my studies and I loved it. Being a gamer, I knew that it was the perfect job for me.
I wanted to work in the creative media for a long time! as far as i can remember having a conscience. I mean, I drawn stick mans and robots before I could speak. The media did of course varied over time but it always was about creativity. For now, I am into 3D character art. But I am not just sticking to this one form as I also do environments and architectures. I also love art in general like expressive arts and others but that is beside the point. Anyway, that is pretty much it.
I've always been drawing and being interested in multiple art forms in general, but what made me discover a passion for animation was when I took a stop motion course at the age of 13. I fell in love with the concept of giving life to inanimate objects, it felt magical to me. Then I gradually dived into 3D animation and studied this form of art at Cegep Limoilou (Quebec, CA) for 3 years. I'm actually working as an environment artist but I use multiple forms of media in my personal projects.
I have been a very creative person throughout all my life. I've always drawn and was eager to learn more about the arts. At 15 years old, I discovered you could make a living out of creating worlds and entertaining a community with the 3D industry. I became hooked and the idea never went out of my head.
