Round of applause for our sponsors

Ever since I could remember I have always wanted to be an artist. I have only recently honed in on my skills and have been focusing on getting better at environments and backgrounds. My main form of art that I really enjoy is character design as I love coming up with wacky ideas and be able to express them into something and someone that people can feel attached too.

End of high school in English literature studies whilst breaking down how authors conveys meaning through narrative, and then retrospectively everyday before and since. It started at video essays on story structure, mixing in with the puppet shows I put on in primary school and my ability to play with mental models. It ended in chancing an infinite skill ceiling to make an audience feel the motion in an animated project. I realised I wanted to have an audience feel as exited as I am creating.

I was in Primary School when I first heard there was a job that combined video games and art. Since then I've been drawing more and more, although it was only in late 2021 when I decided I was going to take my first official step into the career path by trying short courses. Then 2 years later I applied to study a BCAVEED, which I have been doing since.

Right after finishing highschool.

I've always had fun drawing since I was a kid, but I really started to gravitate towards the creative industries in high school, where I wasn't doing very well in my academic subjects but was excelling in my music and art classes. Watched a ton of youtube, found out that being an artist in the creative industries was a thing, havent looked back since.

I've always wanted to work in the creative industries. It wasn't until 2021 when I decided to go for it and pursue a career.

I wanted to be a creative in year 6. Throughout middle school and high school, I've developed the want to become part of the industry through graphic novels and through video games.

when i found enjoyment in making art i was passionate about

I first began getting serious about art when i was 13 in grade 7 but it wasn't until grade 8 when i was doing a course in high school about mapping my future that I learnt about concept art and character design for the first time and I decided i wanted o join the world of entertainment design. I knew from then i tried to attend CDW studios and work my way into the creative industry.
