Round of applause for our sponsors

I first realized I wanted to work in creative industries when I was gifted a DSLR for my 14th birthday. Since then, I've been trying to get my feet wet in every aspect of the industry that I'm able to.

From a young age I would immerse myself in the fantastical worlds that I found in books, movies, and video games. The ability to define worlds, environments, systems, and characters that did not exist in reality fascinated me endlessly. As I developed my art skills over the years, I knew that I wanted to apply my skills and imagination towards creating the kinds of media that fascinated me as a child.

After taking video game development courses.

As a dual-degree student in Computer Engineering and Film Studies at Boston University, I have had a strong interest in creative industries for as long as I can remember. I cannot pinpoint the exact moment when I first realized I wanted to work in the creative industries. However, my understanding of the VFX industry and Weta Digital began when I first grasped the connection between mathematics, space, and 3D graphics while studying linear algebra and multivariable calculus.
