Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I've always had my hands in some type of creative project ever since I was a kid and games have been a constant in my life as well. In the past few years I've decided to focus my attention away from my previous career in the creation of tangible items as a jeweler to crafting digital 3D Environments for games.
I had always been an artist, but mostly in 2D. I was looking for a new career in an industry with a bright future where I could utilize my various art skills. Upon learning that my local community college developed a game art certificate program, it looked like a fun and inexpensive way to start down the path towards a fun and challenging new career.
About a year ago I found myself in a position where I could continue my college degree. I enrolled at the local community college thinking that I'd finish my Computer Science degree and use that financial standing from a job in that field to continue doing art on the side until I could switch it over to a part-time, then full-time job. It was after enrolling in my first semester back that I had the epiphany that I could just learn what I wanted to so I switched majors and here I am.
When I moved to Austin, I was working retail and decided that I should really finish my education. I researched the local programs and found about ACC's game development program. Both my 3D teacher and my Animation teacher were all round fantastic. They were eager to teach and I was enthralled by the ability to make my creations come to life. So from then on, head first into the deep end of the pool. I'm currently finishing the animation portion and will finish the art side next year.
I study at Texas School for the Deaf until graduated from High School and after continued with Austin Community College until graduated also from 3D animation, when I was a little girl I loved drawing, after I watched several TV show cartoons. My hobbies: drawing, digital art, fan fiction, and video games.
