Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I hopped on my current Archviz course at YRGO, Gothenburg, directly after my high school graduation last summer and my 19th birthday. But it was when I studied interior design for three years in high school that made me realize that I really wanted to work with something creative and something that allows me to express myself through creativity in different forms. With that said, I would like to say that I have always had an artistic vein.
Ever since I was little I've said that I wanted to become an artist when I grew up. I've always held onto that dream, always sculpted, painted and sold some artwork on the side, but never managed to make traditional art my 9 to 5 job. So I started studying Computer graphics design at YRGO in Gothenburg, and now I truly know that 3D is what I want to spend the rest of my life doing!
During my high school years I figured that my artistic side of me didn't get satisfied with the work I was doing. And since I've been interested in photography and videography for a as long as I can remember, I wanted to use those skills I've acquired during my time as a freelance photographer and branch out in the world of 3D.
My curiosity and strong interest in design have had a big impact on me my whole life. It’s also a big reason why I choose to start my journey in ArcViz. I enjoy developing skills in all parts of life and this also applies to my Arcviz journey. It’s truly a dream come true to be abel to learn about this industri of creativity and hopefully some day work in it. I feel intrigued and excited to see where this road will lead me forward from here.
All my life I have had a creative mind. But I never knew how to best express it into the working aspect of life. I knew I wanted to do something that spoke to people, a bridge between art, mind and worklife. I wanted to be in a business that respects history, but delivers the future. A business that is curious and forward thinking.
With a bachelors in artistic design I discovered that my emplyment possibilities were quite low. A friend mentioned the school (YRGO, Gothenburg) where I now study, and I had just discovered 3D (Blender Guru and some 3D printing). Two years later and I'm a few days from graduation, and one week away from emplyment as a 3D general artist.
I am currently a computer graphics student from Taiwan based in Varberg, Sweden. My passion lies in procedural modeling, visual effects, lighting, and compositing. I am always open to new and different techniques or methods to achieve the final visual effects. Experimenting constantly and finding solutions is what I truly enjoy while working with various 3D programs.
I have always been creative, and growing up I’ve used it to explore and solve problems. In high school was probably the first time I thought of creating as a possible career path, being inspired by Chip Foos´s car sketches, Grand Designs and overall game- and fanart on the web. In upper secondary school, I decided to commute to a neighboring city to read IT-Media. Work took me elsewhere but I felt something was lacking, and now I’m back on the creative path studying Architectural Visualization!
After practicing in an architectural firm , my interest grew more and more in this direction. Based on this and a background in technical gymnasium, I was determined to start my studies at Yrgo and Architectural Visualization. I am very keen to develop my skills within Visualization in order to present suggestions to prospective clients. After what I have studied so far, I am really convinced that I have found the right education, based on my future goals.
My interest in creating houses and buildings in 3d started during high school when we worked with Sketchup and CAD. I thought it was fun to be able to visualize the houses in a digital way. So when I found this education at YRGO I was excited. I had found my dream job. I think it's important to challenge yourself and that you always aim to develop your skills and strengths. Therefore I want to work with both interior/exterior design, infrastructure and landscape.
I've known it since I was a child but I didn't actually think it was possible until I got into my 30s . People used to say it was a bad idea to focus on art and that lead me to believe there was no way to make it as an artist and I started doing any odd job that would have me. Fast forward to 2023, I am now 32 years old and about the graduate a game artist program . Even though the industry is seemingly having a rough time at the moment I am very excited and eager to work creatively!
Hi, my name is Emma Olsson. I come from a family that has been craftsmen for generations and that has been inspiring me. Early in life I saw the beauty in things and especially buildings and interior, I also learned to appreciate the hard work behind the craft. Architectural visualization has opened my eyes to a new world and I really feel like this is going to be my way to a profession I can appreciate every day.
