I have worked in the creative media for quite a long time. As a painter, graphic designer, and photographer. Last year I decided to learn about Visual Effects and enrolled at RSP. So far this is an amazing place to learn.

After undertaking Intro to CGI in first year at UniSA

I first realized that the creative industries were a viable option in grade 11 when my school offered a once a week course in 3D animation. From there I pursued a Bachelor of Media Arts and the University of South Australia. For the third year of my degree, I was lucky enough to study full time at Rising Sun Pictures, where I became more aware of the scope and variety of work available in the film industry, and my interest turned towards plate preparation and compositing.

After initially enrolling in a media arts degree for film and television, I soon quickly realised that it was the VFX side I enjoyed more than actual onset work.

2015

I was in high school looking to work in film when I heard about Rising Sun Pictures and their work on X-Men: Days of Future Past. Seeing that there was an opportunity to work on such amazing Hollywood films, I took the chance to work my way into the RSP education program through the University of SA Media Arts Degree partnership.
