Back in the day when I studied the Architect course in my country, I realized I wanted to focus on designing something further than designing buildings only.

When I was in college. Because I majored in animation when I was in college, and then I went to Taiwan to study multimedia games. I am now studying for a Master's degree at RMIT in Melbourne. It's also related to animation and games. I also like this very much, and I have been specializing in 3D art creation related technology and software.

It was a very natural transition for me, since I've been drawing since I was young. Being surrounded by creatives and almost always doing something in the creative media/ entertainment industry I kept running forwards heads first into it.

When I first saw breakdown videos of how FX artists created their shots for movies by combining both technical and artistic aspects in their work, it excited me to learn more about 3d. I learned about how both technical and artistic aspects were essential to FX, and since I enjoyed both problem solving and art, FX seemed perfect as a career to pursue.

When I find myself playing games and like I can do this too.

Through watching animation, it inspired in me a deep passion and interest to learn how to make the art and animation I see in my favourite shows.

When I finished high school, I installed Unity and Blender and started messing around with making games. I was no good at coding at that point, but I saw how great the learning curve and skill ceiling is for 3D animation, and the challenge for me was the ultimate reward.

I have been interested in working in film since 2003. I have wanted to create stories since I learned how to write.

This month, when i realized how good my peers are in 3D / Animation

I started my bachelors in Business Marketing but soon realised that this pathway was not for me. I transferred into graphic design then digital design and eventually, settled into 3D design and animation.

About 2 years ago when I was studying Economics and I realized it wasn't for me. Since my elementary school years, I have always been excited about animated films and stylized games, but I never thought of wanting to create them, until I discovered 3D design. There's something about modeling that it could keep me hooked for hours and hours, grinding a scene until it reaches perfection. Therefore, I pursue a career in the creative industries because I want to keep creating arts and designs.

Ever since I was a young child

I began creating characters for stories I'd made up back in year 9 of high school. I loved the process of creating and designing fun characters which inspired me to try out game design. I've always loved video games and the stories the characters can tell, so I wanted to do the same.

I've always been interested in drawing and creating works but recently, I've become interested in 3D modelling and art. I want to pursue this and continue improving this new form of medium for me.

I always love to create, but I think the first time that I realised that I wanted to be a storyteller in 3D is when I watched 'Rise of the Guardians'. I just love how they could tell a story so inspiring and lovely. It just provided me with so much joy when I watched it and I have wanted to do the same ever since.

2017 - During Year 10 work experience at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) in Melbourne I learnt about game design and 3D animation, and decided this is what I would like to do as a career.

I just love drawing way too much

It was actually a big jump for me, but I have always loved the art of storytelling and bringing a story to life like the movies I saw growing up. I guess what pulled me into pursuing this is to put meaning into what I do, unlike just formulas and facts, creative media allows me to have a voice and to tell my stories. I have a passion for it but scared to take it on in the past due to my skill level. So now, I want to learn and grow.

I've always had an indescribable desire to paint, especially characters, and bring them to life with emotion and purpose. To be able to share that with other people, through the entertainment industry, is a dream of mine.

Early on during high-school when I learned of concept artist as a career. From there I developed my interests until now where I'm focused on 3D art.

When I was in high school, I approached the camera. Since that time, I discovered the world of artists through internet and I wished my life to be like theirs. After graduation from the school, I chose to learn media and communication in RMIT University to set the base for my career
