I always wanted to find a way to express my creativity. Creating games allows me to bring my imagination to life.

At the early age of 11, having watched so many cartoons and being fascinated with the process of breathing life into characters, I really wanted to enter the animation industry. I started off animating on pivot and flash, and now im proficient in animating with maya.

While I was in school, I begin to enjoy modeling and playing around with the scenes of 3D as well as making vector illustrations. It started off as an interest, then a hobby now it is my passion. I wanted to make a mark for myself as a designer and take pride in my work, and that is when I decided I wanted to work in the creative media industry.

It started when i was introduced to my first anime Gundam and gameboy games like pokemon, throughout the years and games that i have played till today, i started to think about what if i could be the one making great and fun games for everyone to play and enjoy.

I first realise it when I took O' Levels Art as a subject back in secondary school. It was something that gave me satisfaction and the drive to keep on doing it. I then went into the game art and design course in Nanyang Polytechnic SIDM and it was eye-opening and made me more curious about this line of work and the games and art industry.

I realised it when I was 10

My love for art started at a very young age. Since then, I have been honing my 3D and VFX skills by doing my own personal projects. To me, art is a way to express myself with the only limit being my education. I also have many pop culture interests that inspire me and motivate me to create my own works, and I hope that one day I may make a significant contribution to these interests that may capture the attention of others.

Back in 2012 in primary school, where I realised how fascinating animation was and how unique the animations created back then could be. I initially started out creating stickmen animations, gradually picking up new skills online and most recently, from NYP.

when I started school

I've enjoyed drawing ever since I was around 8 or 9, when a friend introduced me to it as a hobby. As I got older though, I realised that I found art considerably more fun than a lot of my more academic subjects, so I decided that I wanted to study it at a higher level.

During my elective selection process in Secondary School, I followed my parents wish to go all in for my academics. I had an art club on the side, in Secondary 4, I realised that I was much more into art than I initially thought.

During the pandemic, I started playing many games from various genres, and found myself trying to figure out why I found some games more fun than others. That reignited a childhood passion for games and making games, which led to me pursuing an education in game design and devevlopment.

I realized I could spend hours to create artworks and never found it a chore to do so, from then on, learning and delving deeper learning about CGI become more of a passion than a chore. Additionally, I really enjoyed the way I could stories through my visuals and models that people could relate to and understand, which was very fufilling to me.

I love creating and sharing my ideas with like-minded people

I have always been inspired by works of animation in the form of pop art and anime. This created the center in which my works are based in, where 2D animation meets Motion Graphics.

When I was 15 I was interesting in open world games and story telling, leading me to write stories and learn about how games work and the inner workings behind their creation. It led me down the path of 3D animation and on the side I have always grown fond of 2D art as well

since I was young I knew I wanted to do art.

Loved to game since young, was interested in how they were made and took every opportunity to learn more

I really liked building huge houses and mega builds in Minecraft, and wanted to explore more of the 3D aspect outside of it

My passion is to be a part of projects creating 3D game assets by translating the vision from the client, be it a character, environment or prop into beautiful game worlds.

I realised I wanted to work in the creative industry when I was able to visual amazing graphics and visuals that better emphasize on the message that I want to bring about in my work. My passion for the arts, especially graphics, grew so much more when I entered Nanyang Polytechnic.
