When I studied International Business, I wasn't sure about my career. I watched Youtube videos about 3D Animation and Filmmaking and I loved it, but I had to continue my college for some years and, at that time, I didn't know how to start in the animation field. When the pandemic started and we had to be stuck at home, I decided to change and start something new and pursue what I wanted. Finally, I started to study 3D Animation/Filmmaking at Faculdade Méliès in São Paulo - Brazil.

I began to have interest in this field, at 12, and I always wanted to transfer the sensations that games and movies passed to me, like curiosity, happiness and even horror, but I never knew where to start. Only at 16 did my interest in this area really grow, because that´s when I started to take courses and learn how things worked.

The first time I've watched Toy Story. At that moment I have no questions. "I'll work with this 3D art".

I am fascinated with art for as long as I can remember. I does not matter the type, for me, there's nothing more magical than combining all sorts of mediums, styles and types of art with the olny objective of creating greater pieces, that are able to evoque countless different emotions on the audience and the artist.

I discovered that I would like to work in the creative industry, because since I was a little boy, movies, cartoons and games have always enchanted me.

It started very early. Since I was a child I liked to play building objects, streets, avenues, houses, futuristic cars... always visualizing the biggest and best design, even if they were just toothpicks and caps organized in a structure. The first contact with a computer and its dial-up internet, I could see how I could create what I loved to visualize so much and discover new worlds of imagination and creativity.

By now I'm a graphic designer with a postgraduation in Editorial design, working with children's books for more than 6 years now, which I love. But there is a time now I realized that non-moving images were not intriguing enough for me anymore, so last year I decided to invest in 24 fps images education. I always loved animation movies and 3D, in particular, is something I was really curious about. So I decided on 3D animation.

Back in the 7th grade, when I first found out that _real_ people were making those independent 3D animations on youtube, and then discovered those mind-blowing breakdowns of blockbuster VFX shots, and then Video Copilot of course, it finally struck me - I could be a wizard, Harry. I then proceeded to search the life out of me on how all of this witchcraft was done, and test by test, crappy shortfilm by shortfilm, I guess I feel in love with it.

Comecei meus estudos com a escultura tradicional, e no curso conheci pessoas que trabalhavam com mídia criativa e entretenimento, a partir desse ponto comecei estudar mais sobre o assunto e simplesmente me apaixonei por esse mundo.

When i was really young, i liked to make videos with some friends and edit them, naturally that led me to the film industry where I realised that my passion for pixar movies could be more than a hobby.

I was always delighted with films, music, paintings and after trying several different courses in college I realized that it was no use going against what I really like

When i was staring at some cartoons on the TV, fascinated by the colors and the animation, i got easily hooked to Animation in general and then i started drawing while watching. Around my 12th birthday i realised that drawing and animating was my dream and my objective! Years later here i am studying and practicing!

I always liked animation, games and stories! When I realized that I wanted to be part of groups of people who tell a story - full of important messages or just for entertainment, in animations or games - I started to study to work in the area. I'm doing now a graduation of 3D Animation.

I realized that I wanted to work with 3D animation when I watched "coco film", seeing those animated scenes moved me a lot and with that it generated curiosity, I wanted to understand how the production of a film worked, I saw some making of and I was delighted with this world.

Acho que desde de sempre, porem nunca tive tanta oportunidade como estou tendo agora

I always loved art in general, However it became serious when I was living in Canada and I realized how passionate I was for this field. I remember me visiting every single animation studio I could and staying outside just looking amazed by the possibilities.

I was 8 years old when I get my first PC game, and it was Diablo from blizzard, I used to play videogames all the time but the first time a play a game on my computer I thought, I want to make something in the same level or even better. Unfortunately, it wasn't a reality to me, I get my first degree on Biology, but today to be more specific, last year 2020, I could start my dream to become a Game Designer and a 3D Artist too.

Since I was a kid, I loved to watch animations and movies. I always enjoyed animations from Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, and tv series. At my eleven years old, I started to watch a lot of animes and read mangas, so I started to realize that my dream was to work in the creative media and awaken in people the same good feelings that I felt when I was watching. For now I'm doing a undergraduatio of Animation Design at Faculdade Méliès.

I realized I wanted to work within the entertainment industry quite young, but I believe it took me a while to realise what it meant. I was about sixteen when I fully realized that was what I wanted, specially because my family wasn't rreally encouraging at first, and a turning point for that decision was the release of one of my favorite movies: Moana (2016). I've cried so hard, partially because of the plot and partially because I wanted to be able to do something like that.

I intended to pursue a career in the biological sciences, because I love life, but seeing a specific animation I realized that I could give life to my own ideas so I decided to come this way.

When I was a kid. I used to go to the movies and try to understand how they did those things. I used to buy tons of DVDs just because of the extras to see the Behind the Scenes, even movies that I didn't like.

In 2015 I met de 3Ds Max in a course of game development and after that, I started to dedicate too many hours to tutorials on youtube, Now I am in Méliès studying to learn more.
