Round of applause for our sponsors

With 16 years I had my first contact with VFX. My brother showed me a funny photomontage which one of his friends created as a joke. He put my brothers face on the poster of Terminator 2 - the one with Arnold sitting on the motorcycle. It wasn't just funny - it blew my mind how believable that montage looked. From that day on I picked up every online tutorial I could find and started the long journey of learning to see the world in relation to motion, light, composition and colour.

I drew as long as I can remember and always liked to do creative things but it was the Gameboy Colour and Pokemon Red Edition that got me into this sector. Such a small thing that captivated my attention and my thinking for hours almost days when Mom allowed it and being the one in control was just to fascinating to turn away from. So I didn't and 21 years later still play, live and breath games but now also as a developer.

I started creating cool websites with Microsoft word back then - okay, they weren't that cool, but I loved to play around with word, powerpoint, paint and later on photoshop. Then I got better and was into web and graphic design - self taught - but it brought me my first small jobs. I became a creator scince then.

When I was 15 years old I got this crazy idea of becoming a game developer. Since then, my life has been all about Unity3D & game design. After finishing school I got the opportunity to work for two major german studios: Mimimi Productions and King Art Games. I did leveldesign for “Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun” and worked on “The Book Of Unwritten Tales” and “The Dwarves”. In 2015 I started a game design focused study at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
