Round of applause for our sponsors

Growing up and trying new careers out, i fell upon a game design college course and i instantly fell in love. I would constantly look at other peoples work and aspire to be at their level, i now work in the industry for my first year and am itching to learn some new things and progress even further!

always had a love for art at 15 I wanted to be a character concept artists but after realizing my love games I changed course and wanted to be a 3d artist. Not until my second year of university I decided to pursue the 3d character art side of the games industry as it is hard and i dont shy away from a challenge. I still enjoy other forms of art and still hope to improve my 2d skills not for any career but just as a hobby.

I have always been interested in creative arts growing up, always excelling in subjects such as ART and Graphic Design. My interest in games brought me to the University of Huddersfield, where I have since developed skills required in the game design industry and I love it.

Originally I was always pushed to follow an academic path but, when I got to college I wanted to become more creative and have more freedom with what I do. Then I discovered that there were Game Design/Game Art courses at university. So, I decided to go for it and I don't regret it at all.

I've always had a passion for good video game art, especially environments. I love the idea of telling stories and presenting a vertical slice of a bigger world in a game environment.

I started creating games when I was 14 using basic software such as scratch, construct and game maker. When I started college at 16 I took a games design course which made me go more into the creative side, this is around the age where I realised I wanted to create the artwork for games. Ever since I've been trying to learn and improve my knowledge to hopefully get into the industry one day.

I've always loved creating, from starting out with Lego to creating complex game environments with the latest tools, creating has been my passion. From playing video games most of my life, they've been a huge part of why I've gone down the creative media route and why I've been so interested in learning how to create them for myself.
