I started university on a general Creative Media Technologies degree, where I was first taught some 3D Animation. Because I enjoyed it more than many of the other modules on the course, I decided to transfer onto a 3D Animation degree.

I've always loved visual arts and the way they can help you get immersed in a world. I started my interest in 3D work with wanting to create my own Warhammer miniatures and have been learning ever since.

When I had a natural desire to explore houses and 3D design

I always loved playing games and was fascinated by the technology and visuals behind them. At first, I tried to make my own games using javascript but then I discovered Unity, I experimented a bit and I wanted to learn to make my own models, this is where I discovered blender! I loved it a lot and had so much fun making models (even if they weren't great) that I chose to go to a University that would help me continue on this path, this was one of the best choices I could have ever made!

I’ve been interested in Computer Science since my first IT lessons in secondary school. On the other hand, I’ve always enjoyed drawing, movie editing, and using my imagination to create something visual. I would look for industry that would allow me to match these two areas. Ever since I found the Computer Animation and Visual Effects course in the UK I’ve been sure it is something I want to bond my future with.

An interest in 3D animation started from creating simple buildings in sketchup, in the search for 'better' softwares to work with I had stumbled upon 3d animation tools such as blender, maya and houdini. From then on I understood this (animation/vfx) as something I am interested in pursuing.

I realised I wanted to work in the creative industries quite early on. As from a young age I’ve had an interest in art and was inspired by the films I watched containing vfx. I then in sixth form tried to structure my learning to best benefit studies in uni and to hopefully give me the best chance to succeed and deck my skill set for the future

I realized i wanted to work on the creative media when i was 13 years old and found out about minecraft animations, thats when i fell in love with 3D animation, modelling and texturing. when i started University I also developed a passion for programming.

I realised when playing games I would always be analysing animations and graphics when playing and found a well animated game to be more fun than anything else. It dawned on me that I wanted to work in the creative entertainment industry so that I could learn to animate and create projects that would make people go "Wow" just as I did when playing games or watching movies. I always loved realistic movement with weight and power behind actions and have now started enjoying exaggeration too.

When I first watched avatar I was blown away. In a way that made me excited.

After 5 years working in the engineering sector, boring myself with the mundanity of unfulfilling paperwork five days a week and considering my love of the arts as an enjoyable pass-time, I realised it was time to actually take pride in a career. As soon as I discovered the craft of animation and the world of digital artistry I was inspired to start creating and commence a career which rewards imagination, storytelling and expression.

I have always had an interest in Animated films and video games and naturally decided to follow it up

I realised that I wanted to work in the creative media industry when I first laid eyes on the original World of Warcraft cinematic by Blizzard Entertainment back in 2004. Back then I was only 5, so I didn't quite understand what creating art like this entailed but I knew that this is what I wanted to do an artist and my career

When I was 16, I am 21 now. I started studying in a college for 2 years an animation and game design degree and I have been studying for 2 years at university. I still have a long way to go to become a pro but I have the ignated flame of passion to become a great character artist like Rafael Garssetti.

I realised I wanted to work in an art based job when I was aged 17. I have always drawn from a very young age, and studied art at GCSE and A-Levels painting and drawing, whatever traditional mediums I could use; however I wasn't always set on the idea of a creative job until University came along. It was only then, that I stumbled upon Animation and since pursuing this, it is an industry full of challenge and creativity that I really would love to work in!

The realisation that I wished to work within the industry was a gradual one and as I've progressed in my journey I've realised the impact and the importance that the Industry and creative media hold in bringing people together.

I was 13 years old when I decided I wanted to work in the creative industry as I couldn't stop drawing and creating and I wanted to make my passion for living.

About the time I was switching from Computer Science course to Computer animation

I've always loved games and wanted to work withint that industry, but I never knew in exactly which area. Until I got to my final year of college where we had a 3D modeling unit. This unit consisted of modeling the inside of a bar or restruant. Here Is where I fell in love with 3D modeling. Combine that with my heavy interst in environments, terrian, physical model building and painting, to get to where I am today.

I've always been a fan of animated films when I was young but the eagerness to learn more to it was when I appreciate the technology advancements of cgi on Harry Potter Films

I have been playing video games since the age of 3. I have had the dream of creating computer games since the age of 9.

When I realised I could write a better story line than infinite warfare
