Round of applause for our sponsors

As a kid I wanted to become a life action director and draw in my free time. Back then I had a strong interest in filmmaking and drawing but never really understood that animation is exactly what combines the two. When I got Instagram as a teenager and suddenly saw the amazing art that came from those artists working in that industry I was so hooked that a very strong drive emerged to learn the craft and to be able to create art like that one day.

I have always leaned to creativity in most things I do in life. I was always drawing or creating something as a kid. I always knew it was what I wanted to keep doing.

I've always known I wanted to work in the creative field.

When I started studying. Applying for the school I just wanted to improve my storytelling and drawings skills and it slowly dawned on me that some people can life off drawing.

I realized I wanted to pursue a career in concept art during my high school years. Drawing and painting has been a hobby of mine since I was very young, but only later did I realize could pursue a career where I could apply these skills. After high school I applied for a spot at The Animation Workshop and started my journey to be a part of the creative media and entertainment industry.

when i was a kid and loved hearing about other peoples stories when travelling

I am sure, many people have similar stories. But when I was a child I would watch "behind the scenes" footage of Harry Potter DVDs and fell in love with filmmaking. Working in the film industry was a dream that seemed as impossible as becoming a rock star, at least from my perspective. It wasn't until many years later, when all other options failed to give me joy in my worklife, that I decided to pursue a career in the industry. Now, I am finally here.

I used to make a lot of small film-productions as a kid, playing around with storytelling and visual effects. My spark for the creative media continued through my high school years, where I realized that it could become an actual career path. That's why I am currently studying at The Animation Workshop.

when I drew a spiderman

I first knew that i wanted to be an animator after i watched a behind the scenes for gravity falls on YouTube and realised that animation was an actual job. At the same time i had lost interest in school, so i took a course in classical drawing and after that i was sold on a more creative career.

I knew after Highschool at the age of 19 - after drifting around more in the sciences. I wanted to do something creative & work in games.

When I watched cartoons as a young kid I realized I wanted to work within film and animation.

Sitting at home, wondering what I wanted to be when I grow up.

Hello! Welcome to my profile. There's not much to see yet, but keep your eyes peeled - I may post something soon 😊

I've always had a passion for games that I think grew from playing PlayStation 2 with my big sister. I find myself thinking of environments and game levels I would like to build that would be fun to play in!

I like to laugh and I like when i make other people laugh. I also like drawing, so animation seemed like a good idea.

The craft of visually telling stories, the process of it, and the effect the result can have on people, drew me to work in the industry.

I have always been leaning towards creative/artistic fields, but the first realization came when after I finished the first year of my previous education (fashion design). I felt like there´s a lot more possibilities in going digital.

When I bought the Assassin's Creed Revelation special edition, and there was an artbook along with it. I thought it was very cool that you could draw for videogames :-)

I first realized that I wanted to work inside the entertainment industry when I was a teenager but i have up the dream until i became an adult.
