I was always drawn to work in any creative media industry. Basically growing up in a generation where I had had access to computers, movies and video games played the biggest role in my youth towards choosing this career path. A short time after I had finished high-school, I've learned about the opportunity to study Visual Effects abroad and the rest is history.

I always wanted to pursue a career in art, I grew up watching old films like Ray Harryhausen's Jason and the Argonauts. But the realisation of wanting to be in the entertainment industry, came to me when I first watched Pirates of the Caribbean the Curse of the Black Pearl. I knew then, I wanted to be a part of the industry, a part of the creation process.

I always loved films and games as a kid, but was never taught that this was a job option when going through school. It was when I was deciding on which GSCEs to pick to study towards a career, did I come across people online working on films, and realizing myself that this was an option for my future career, and people actually did these amazing, interesting jobs. So I started working towards my goal of working as an artist in the film industry.

I have always enjoyed drawing different characters and monsters since i was little from watching different Disney films ect, and after i left school i found out that game design was 3d modelling and engine work where i can bring my monsters to life, and i cant wait to get stuck in.

As a kid, I always enjoyed watching animated shows and movies. I've also always been into drawing. When I hit my teens, I learnt that being an animator was a possible career choice and have been working towards it ever since.

When I was studying im creative media in college I got quite handy with After Effects. I realised I quite enjoyed it and since then I’ve explored and grown from that into many software.

I have always had a fascination about how the things work behind the scenes. I have a curious mind, trying to understand the process that is involved in the making and hence I have always wanted to be a part of the process.

The moment when I started sketching with my dad and developed interest in sketching at first. Slowly after then I developed interest in digital art and learning new software to transform ideas to life.

I've always had a big interest in video games, but it wasn't until I played Final Fantasy XIV for the first time that I decided I wanted to pursue art for video games.

When I was 18, I realized all I wanted to do is to draw. I'm not interested in working in other industries and drawing is all I wanted to do and I want to spend all my life in this career until the day I can't draw anymore.

It was summer of 2016 when there was a long vacation and I was doing nothing just watching movies that's when I came across The Pacific Rim which bowled my mind and I wonder how did they created that movie so after few research I found out about CGI and join a diploma course of animation and 3D after knowing how great this CGI world is I never came back decided that I will become one these crew.

I first wanted to pursue a career in creative industries after being introduced to Maya at university. I love the medium and how I could create 3D art, and I was determined to teach myself the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue this. The freedom of making whatever I could conceptualise was exhilarating and I was in awe of the individuals who could make such detailed 3D art for games and animation. That determination still drives me today, and I dream of making 3D animations to show my art.

Ever since I started playing video games around the age of 6.

Creative adventures and projects were always the main source of excitement throughout my childhood. However, despite how much of a creative hobbyist I was, as a teenager I completely forgot about my love for art and design and in my late teens, like most others got a boring 9-5 office job. Terrified at the reality of being stuck in a job like that for the rest of my life, I decided to quit and return to University to study a somewhat new found love of fashion.

2020 while living in germany and during covid I had the opertunity to learn blender in my own time as a gateway drug into the VFX industry where joined unviersity in 2021. during my course I was not sure what I wanted to do however what solidified my choice which is now visual effects in teeside was going to Animex event during 2021 summer where I changed course to VFX.

I have always loved games, I constantly hogged my nan's playstation to play Spyro but it wasn't until middle school where I realised I wanted to work in the game industry. We were asked what our dream job was and I wrote to work at Blizzard Entertainment. However, I didn't know I could pursue it as a career until university.

When I was a kid, I used to wonder how everything in movies was made, like how Harry Potter has an invisibility cloak, which as a kid I couldn't imagine how it was done. There were numerous films, including Planet of the Apes, Avatar, and Transformers. As I grew up watching these movies, I became curious about how they were made. As a kid, I was always interested in creating 2D art, but as I grew older, I discovered that I also enjoyed creating 3D art and visual effects.

When I was a kid playing Spyro on the PS1, but then reignited when I played the last of us, in 2013.

I first realised I wanted to work in industry when I set my hands on the first game I played, I can remember at the time I never understood how the controls worked or what to do but there was something about it that sparked an interest my interest in games. As I grew older, I began to appreciate the art side of games because at the time, that was the thing that really drew my attention.

Always wanted to work. But now I have learnt skills so I can start up.

After I join contest about 3d and get in touch about the world of 3d at secondary school

Since I joined University ; since I wanted to be self-employed and self-made

I've always been into the creative media, it just took me a while to realise I want to do it as a job and not just a hobby.
