Uncover Hidden Talent: Hire the World’s Top New Digital Artists
I've wanted to be an animator since my childhood. I'd often watch movies and animated series and imagine my own characters within them. Later in life, I started writing and designing characters, their stories, and the worlds they would live in. While in high school I got interested in 3D animation and have been using blender ever since.
Since I was very young, I´ve loved dabbling and creating art, and as most kids that loved drawing and painting, I wanted to work in cartoons and movies... I didn't know exactly how that would work but I knew I wanted in. And when I grew up and learned about the industry, I kinda felt sparks in my eyes and before choosing colleges, THERE I knew that, this was it. Pretty idealistic I know, and now I learned how the current moves in the industry, but it makes me more determined, not less.
I have always been a guy that has a passion for creating different stories set in other worlds different from our own, with its own characters, stories, cultures and lore. I realized animation was the ideal career for me when I went to a college festival, got into a talk about the career of animation and digital arts and they basically described who I am from top to bottom. 4 years later I still believe I made the right choice.
It was back in 2012 when I started playing Call of duty and watching some pro players in youtube creating crazy edits in their montages using After Effects and sort of incredible effects, so at that moment I was 14 years old and I realized I wanted to do something professional with that kind of vfx work but I was too young to start learning from youtube tutorials because I didn't have the program's to work with and to take it seriously, I just wanted to play and to have fun.
