I've been drawing my own characters for almost my whole life, and in the last few years I've been experimenting a lot more with my own original characters and designs and found I've really taken a liking to most things to do with character design, skin design, etc!

I honestly don’t remember a time when I didn’t want to be a storyteller. I loved losing myself in books, comics and movies and as I grew older I realised I want to make those experiences for other people. It’s hard to describe but I have a need to create, it’s my purpose.

I have enjoyed drawing and being creative for as long as I can remember, however I didn’t decide on a career in the arts until I was around 17 years old, in college

At my year 10 careers meeting, the careers head didn't want to talk about my interest in conceptual art only my work experience at a Jaguar Land Rover factory. I decided if I didn't follow my dream I may eventually stop producing art.

Always been into various art forms, but discovered and started developing my interest for media/ video game concept art, during my teens. Been pursing and improving my skills into and during university, where I've branched off into worldbuilding and creature design.

I've always loved drawing and have done it for many years. Once I started an instagram account and started uploading my work, I realised how many people really liked it and thought I was good at it. This was enough for me to stay motivated and keep going to the point where I've improved so much and would love to make a career out of it! I am also a huge fan of movies and games and enjoy all aspects of them, especially the behind the scenes, such as how they are made (vfx, concept artists,etc...)

I've always been 'arty' growing up, but I really decided to pursue art as a career when I finished Sixth Form, having felt burnt out in every subject but art.

I've worked in the fashion industry for 15+years and I'm really excited to see how it's developing and adapting with the use of technology, using the technologies has enabled me to develop my creativity and work in ways I could never have imagined whilst allowing exploration into sustainable solutions.

I first realised I wanted to work in the creative industry when I was doing GCSE Art in High School. I never stopped doodling and sketching monsters and creatures alike so I endeavoured into studying Animation in University.

Having always been creatively inclined, I figure out I wanted to work in the art industry when I was in college. I tried many different things from textile to fine art to metal and woodwork but everything all came back to simple pencil to paper doodles. And my option to going into concept art solidified when I was finishing college and found the Comic and Concept Art undergraduate course at Leeds Art and I knew that was where I wanted to go

When I was a kid How To Train Your Dragon inspired me to study animation and become a creature designer. Right now video games give me a lot of inspiration and I say to myself '' I want to become like the creators of the game'' Basically I realized I wanted to be in this industry when I was little and learning about games and movies.

I've been interested in art and all things creative for as long as I can remember. Over the years I've slowly become more specialised towards character concept art. And, eventually I started studying this as my degree course at university.

I discovered my love for the creative industry in early high school, where I was fortunate enough to have a Head of Art teacher who likes to encourage his students. No matter their medium or style.

Art has always been the main passion in my life but it was when I studied Animation & Games Design in college that I discovered concept art. It was from here that I got lost in the world of concept art and decided to pursue it as a career. I enrolled in the Concept Art course that is taught at Leeds Arts University and have so far gone on to achieve high grades in my course. My ultimate goal is to design what everybody looks at when they get lost in the entertainment of films & games.

I always knew that I wanted to work in the creative industry. Although I started out as a fine artist, once I got my hands on a computer and learned a couple softwares, I knew that the entertainment industry was it for me. Animation absolutely captured my heart by just watching shows and movies but when I learned how to create something of my own, I was done for and knew that there is no going back for me.

I think I realized I wanted to work in the creative industries when I was between 14 and 16 and worked out that creating stuff was what really made me excited.

I have always had a very deep interest in art and storytelling, but I realised when I was 12 years old that I wanted to be a concept artist. I had visited the Harry Potter Studios in London with my family, and there was an entire hall dedicated to the design process behind the films, I had no idea that there were so many people responsible for all the things we know and love behind those movies, needless to say, I was sold.

I have always had an interest in fantasy and the idea of creating concepts. When I was younger, I used to read a lot of novels and visualize concepts. How I would imagine these characters to look. I have always had a sense of imagination and thought creatively as I construct a lot of my inspiration from the outdoors and History. I love educating myself to improve my art and to find these unique concepts. I am happiest when I am creating and challenging myself.

A few years ago I began pining down what area of art I wanted to pursue; Fine art and comics were not the direction I wanted go in, then I discovered Concept art . It was so inspiring seeing everybody's creativity, and learning these people were getting jobs in Films and Games it blew my mind.
