Round of applause for our sponsors

During my studies at lasalle university.

I have been a huge fan of movies especially Jurasic Park and Avatar so I decided to jump into VFX industry. Working in the industry always makes me happy and be energized because I feel like I do what I love.

Since my childhood my passion for video games made me want to work in this industry.

A few years ago I realized that the entertainment industry was my passion, I have been working on storyboard and concept art projects but now I'm focusing on VFX and creature FX. For now I'm still learning and studying but this year i'm really looking for an intenship or my real first job as VFX or creature FX artist. Hope we can work together some day, I'm looking forward to meet some incredible people in this world.

Prior to university, I had no prior experience in Art,I did my A-levels in Maths, Chemistry and Biology. I used to paint as a hobbyist to de-stress and that is a huge part of what made me take the leap to the Arts. I realised the importance of pursuing something you enjoy, it makes us hopeful towards the future and drives us to achieve our goal.

while gaming in a moment of pride, I though I could do it better

I've been playing video games all my life, and knew very early on that that is the field I wanted to work in. I started taking an interest in 3D art and now here I am.

i will fill this up later

Growing up watching ReBoot and playing video games with amazing cinematic sequences (for the time) such as, Dungeon Keeper, Diablo, Command & Conquer, Baldur's Gate. I studied hand drawn art, traditional film and computer engineering in high school. I spent a few years trying to learn 3D modelling and animation from random tutorials online, mostly Digital-Tutors stuff and eventually was able to enroll in The Art Institute of Vancouver now LaSalle College. There I studied VFX for Film.

I knew I wanted to be in animation after discovering the art of stick figure comics back in elementary school. It just felt like something was missing so I looked for animation tools on google and the rest is history.

Like almost everyone else. I am passionate of video games since I am young and I wanted to learn more about it. How they create all these universes and characters and how they bring it to life. It's was the same for movies. It's wasn't only by passion but by this strong sense of curiosity, the whiling to create, to learn more and improve.
