Round of applause for our sponsors

after doeing fotography for years i went in to filmmaking

I picked up design at 12 and started my own business in March 2017. First, I started making websites and logos for friends, which slowly evolved into following After Effects tutorials online and learning the basics of Visual Effects. Since then, I've come a long way and done many projects. My main interests lie in compositing, FX and pipeline/TD.

When I saw movies as a child, I was always super intrigued. I wanted to know how to make impossible things.

I started making short films when I was 14 and I was editing them in After Effects, but when I was in my last year of high school I realised this might very well be the industry I want to live and breathe in.

I first started trying out 3d software when I was nine years old. I had just watched the 1999 BBC series Walking With Dinosaurs and wanted to try and make them myself. I started with using Animation Master which my father had bought when he was young. A year later I switched over to Blender and later on Zbrush. I haven't made a dinosaur in a long time but I'm eager to start one again and use my new knowledge to truely bring it to life.

I Always loved watching movies and eventually realized i wanted to be part of the beautiful art of putting people's imaginations on screen!

I always wants to do CG artwork especially after I try different jobs. I clearly know I want a challenge job which can present my idea, my design and my artworks.

I love Marvel movies, The Avengers is my favorite movie and that is when i have decided to be able to work in the industry in the future.

Currently, I’m in the third year of my study Visual Effects & Immersive Media at the Netherlands Film Academy. I have put all my focus and commitment in 3D Character Animation. My passion for animation started at a very young age. I love to bring characters to life and to create appealing motion and character driven action. It brings me a lot of fulfilment when my animations come to life on the screen after all the time and effort I've put into it.

I first realized I wanted to work in Visual Effects when I was about 10 years old when I saw a special feature on TV about the vfx of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. I couldn't wrap my head around what I was seeing, but it was so intriguing to me how something like that was achieved. And ever since then I've been enveloped in the creative field.

I loved watching movies filled with action and sci-fi as a kid and curiosity took over when I was about 10. I started watching behind the scenes and tutorials so I could try making VFX too. I knew from that moment that I wanted to make it my job and do it at a professional level.

My father has always been very creative. He was a motivation and inspiration for me to take a look around in the creative industry. So since I was 12/13 years old I've been studying and practicing arts. When I first discovered Adobe Premiere in one of my art classes, my love for making film started. A few years in I saw my first VFX breakdown, so I started learning Adobe After Effects and that is where my VFX journey started.

When I was about to graduate from middle school, I picked up a hobby in video editing. That influenced me into going to schools that educates in creating content within the entertainment industry. Later on I decided that Visual Effects was the career I wanted to go for. Especially within 3D art

I've always been a fan of spectacular visuals in films, and as soon as I entered the VFX classroom at an open day at the Netherlands Film Academy, I knew that this was the career path for me. Films have inspired me, motivated me, and connected me to people I would've never met otherwise, and my dream is to work on and create projects that will bring others that same fulfillment.

I have always been very good at creative aspects and problem-solving, which I think are some of the most important aspects in the VFX industry. Since my 3rd year of secondary school it started as a hobby, wanting to learn everything there is to know about VFX. And eventually my hobby slowly turned into one of the most important passions in my life, and so I decided I want to make VFX my Job. At the moment my main expertise is Matchmoving, and I am always eager to learn and better my skills.
