I started to do research into the CG industry during COVID after I graduated highschool

I have always been an artistic person and loved creating characters and environments since I was a child. I realized I wanted to work in creative industries in high school, because making art and collaborating with others is what I do.

I've been passionate about working in animation since middle school. I was self-taught up until enrolling in Drexel University where I started taking proper classes in animation.

I first realized that I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry early on in my life, either through watching stunningly animated movies like "How to train you dragon" or the awe inspiring work of "Avatar." But also I was inspired when I saw individual 3D animations that people would post on YouTube and that got me inspired to learn that art myself, before I got accepted into the Animation and Visual Effects major at my college.

I first realized I wanted to work in the entertainment industry in two ways. Firstly when I started playing video games and watching blockbuster movies such as Avatar. Secondly when my uncle introduced me to Blender when I was around 14 years old and I quickly fell in love with the workflow and the results, and figured out that I could use my skills with Blender in the industry.

I am a leader with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams. My teams don’t work for me—I work for them. I foster a team culture where trust, open communication, and community are paramount. My leadership turns collective efforts into results that exceed expectations.

I’ve always loved video games, but it wasn’t until I played Destiny that I realized real people make games and I could too. Reading every patch note and weekly update really gave me a window into the process of making a game and I loved it.

I first realized I wanted to work with creative media around 7th or 8th grade. I have always loved art, but never saw it as a career. Then, in 7th grade my school started having coding classes. We made digital illustrations and animations with JavaScript. I fell in love with it, and from there I started researching how I could make a career that combines technology and art. I found animation and computer graphics and never looked back!

Our group came together in Summer 2019 after completing internships in Los Angeles. We all shared the desire to create an animated short film, using our skills as 3D artists. When we returned to Philadelphia as Juniors at Drexel University, we started work on our film 'Light Years Apart'. Mariia Osanova, Julia Farley, Jonathan Jankowiak, Sam Hall, Gabby Harder, Shannon Boyle, Alexandra 'Ara' Talitskaya, Brandon Delvalle, Christian Sanchez.

I was one of the few artists in high school and I came across Schoolism where I learned that I could make a living out of art.

When I was in middle school, I realized I wanted to work in the entertainment industry.

Throughout life I have done painting/sculpting but wanted to do engineering and science. Second year of high-school I decided I wanted to work in the creative field and do 3D design and animation.

I always had a passion for photography and film. When I discovered what the Animation industry was it felt like the perfect mix between art and tech and I was sold.

After I saw Spider-man 3 in theatres, I knew I wanted to work in CG.

Before undergrad, in high school.

Playing video games all my life. That's all I want to do for my career.

I've wanted to work in computer graphics since high school. I grew up watching animated and visual effects films and they always inspired me to do better, but on night after watching Wreck-It Ralph I realized that I wanted to work on these things.
