3 years ago when watching a Proko video showcasing Kim Jung Gi's skills. It made me immediately want to relearn drawing and sketch and ideate like him. Ever since I've plunged into the game industry world and learned digital painting and concept art.

I have been interested in creating worlds and telling stories my entire life, but it was only a few years ago that I decided that I wanted to pursue it as a career. I've been working hard to get there ever since.

Whilst finishing a degree in architecture, I happened to play Deus Ex: Human Revolution, which opened my eyes to how video games were fast becoming the next great frontier for storytelling. Experiencing these immersive environments, cutting-edge visual effects & engaging gameplay, made me want to join in and meaningfully contribute somehow; as well as combining my passion for design, history and art.

I've always loved drawing but couldn't see it as anything more than a hobby until I played Dishonored and was introduced to Cedric Peyravernay's artwork, after that, I knew what I wanted to do for a living and haven't stopped learning since.

After finishing University with a business degree, I was looking for creative outlets. I'd always been enthralled with games and animated films, and was lucky enough to meet people in the industry. Since then, I'd been driven to learn concept art!

I had always been inspired by animated films and video games. It was in the third year of my animation program that I realised I wanted to pursue concept art as a career.

4th year of my bachelor's of biology when job prospects in that field were looking really bleak, and my art was within striking distance of professional level.

After a life time of drawing and doodling for myself as a hobby, I participated in my first Inktober challenge in 2018. As I discovered the other amazing artists participating in these types of challenges it dawned on me that it is possible to have a career in art where you engage in story telling and world building, and possibly even having an impact on the people who view your work.

When I was in college completing an illustration major, it was during the release of some stunning triple As titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn and Destiny2. Not only is their visuals compelling, the world-buildings behind these titles are equally stunning. I was curious about how the ideas are made and then being translated into visuals, and discovered concept in the process. It is very rare to find an occupation that is both challenging and joyful.

When I started watching animated movies.

I always knew I wanted to work in the video game industry but I initially chose the scientific path before realising I was really drawn into the artistic and more creative side of games. So in 2014 I started studying drawing and painting fundamentals before getting into concept art in late 2019.

Creating concept art in a videogame team had always been my dream job. I love building, designing and illustrating an imaginary world.

It all comes back to my elementary childhood years, when I used to be amazed by great movies such as Jurassic Park, Alien, predator and the behind the scenes of them. I wanted to get involved into the production of this incredible pieces of modern culture. Then I got into videogames and after unlocking some of the Metroid Prime concept art images I knew that concept art was going to be my future.

I have been drawing constantly ever since I could hold a pencil, but I realized I had passion for entertainment industry art when I in my early teenage years after I got my first Wacom intuos. Art has always been a central part of my identity. After graduating from high school I have been enrolled at art universities for the past 9 years, an eternal student or so to speak. I have just recently I graduated from a Concept Art diploma program at Syn Studio in Montreal which I enjoyed a lot.

Since I was young , I play many video games and read many manga, I want to make something like this when I grew up

Having been brought up in an environment that exposed me to art and stories of different kinds has perhaps succeeded in inducing a vibrant sense of imagination in me. I remember daydreaming back in my childhood about being in different worlds, fighting with monsters, being in journeys that otherwise would never have been possible. Although, I was oblivious about concept art back then, I’d always known that I wanted to use my drawing skills to create stories and worlds.

I've always been drawn to create my own universes as far as I can remember, but the journey really started when I first played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as a teenager. I was really amazed by the visuals, the look of each characters, each cities and each props. This fascination for world-building never left me since then and guided me to take a creative path!

Around 4 years ago when I was a industrial designer I decided that I needed to try a more creative industry, my passion for drawing and developing ideas was something to foster more. That's when I decided to move to Canada and study concept art.

After I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts I thought it would be awesome to work in the video-game industry, since I always loved video-games.
