I am a third-culture kid who went to 8 different schools because of my parent's jobs, and my passion for art started when I realized that art is a universal tool to communicate with my classmates when I couldn't speak their language at first.

I first realized that I wanted to work in the creative media and entertainment industry when I started college and began learning the pipeline for making animations and games. I did not realize how accessible the medium of 3D art was, so once the door was opened, I took off and never looked back.

Playing Thomas Brush's flash game Coma was the first time I realized that games could be an artistic medium. From then on, I started to look for art in all of the games I played and was awed by the many forms it could take. I decided that I would strive to be an accomplished player in the creative media and entertainment industry, finding inspiration in the act of inter-disciplinary collaboration and discovering more and more ways to merge art and games.

The entertainment industry is for me, being able to connect with people all around the world through stories.

When I got too immersed in a game or animation series, I wanted to be the one who made that happen too.

When I took some interactive media arts related courses during my undergraduate study, I started doing some mini game projects and exploring making some game arts, primarily 2D. But when I entered CMU ETC, I found it was even more exciting to create game ready 3D assets and play with game engines. Now, I will call myself a passionate and growing 3D environment artist. :)

I realized I wanted to work in the creative and entertainment industry after taking my first animation course in my sophomore year of college.

I've always loved animation and games!

I have always wanted to work in a creative field. As a child, the first art-related job that I ever became aware of was "Animator"! I had no idea what that meant, I just new that in some shape or form I would be doing art for my living. As I grew older I became more aware of all of the wonderful ways art can exist, which has only heightened my drive for art. Truly nothing makes me happier than when I'm creating, so it seems that I don't really have a choice! For me, it's art or nothing.

When I was in college.

I realized my passion and future goal when I was in high school. I love to watch animations and films with artistic feeling and amazing visual effects. After attending the college, I have been looking for my own art style. The art is in my heart.

When I watched the Pixar movie "Finding Nemo". Since then I wanted to get into the entertainment industry.

I first realised that I wanted to work in creative media during grade 10, when I developed an interest in architecture. In grade 12, I started to become more interested in graphic design programs like AutoCad and Blender.

I stepped off the Toy Story Midway Mania prototype at Walt Disney Imagineering and told my mom that that was my new dream - developing interactive location-based experiences to give people the same joy my mom and I had sitting on that make-shift theme park ride in an undisclosed location.

I fell in love with films and animations as a child. My family would watch movies almost on a nightly basis, and I knew from then on I wanted to be a part of them.

When I first saw a movie making-film, I realized that I really want to be part of something cool.

After graduating High School, I knew I wanted to explore my passion for both Art and Technology in whichever career path I chose. After pursuing my Computer Engineering degree and gaining the skills I thought necessary, I realized that the industry that would allow me to maintain that combination would be the media and entertainment Industry. That is why I enrolled myself in the CMU Entertainment Technology program, where I learnt how too be an animator, designer and programmer for new media.

When I was in 6th grade and I realised that I wanted to make games to make an impact just like they did on me.
