When I knew it was a possibility to make games

When I realized how fun and accessible it is to create by your own

Ever since I was little I've had a need for a creative outlet. I started out in graphic design but soon after found my passion within Game Development. I enjoy the challenges, problem-solving, and creative collaborations game development offers which is why I am currently studying at The Game Assembly with a focus on UI design and prop art.

I have always had a big passion for drawing and building and, of course, playing videogames. For me, working as an artist in the game industry truly is a mix of the best of both worlds. Currently a student at The Game Assembly!

I grew up around a bunch of creative people in my family and got to nerd out playing with games and 3d software as a kid, and that love for games and graphics just grew from there!

Since I was a kid I enjoyed creating digital art and drawing was a huge hobby of mine growing up. As I got older I also got into 3D modeling in Blender and my dream was initially to create 3D art for games. However, as kind of a spontaneous decision I ended up getting into game programming instead, which ended up being the best decision I've ever made. I'm now a very passionate gameplay programmer, and my artistic eye gives me an unique strength.

I've always wanted to work in creative industries. My first dream job was fashion designer.

When I was tiny

It was in elementry school when I was drawing up game ideas on paper and came up with crazy but fun concepts. I found it really challenging yet intriguing and since then I have always known what I wanted to do.

As a child, I have always wanted to pursue a creative career.

Education is important for mental progression and satisfaction and games have to potential to serve as educative tools and/or philosophical inquiries, which is where my interest lies.

When i started to read

I have known since my early teenage years.

Playing games like The Legend of Zelda and Assassins Creed with my dad when I was little.

I have always loved being creative ever since I was a child. In 2016 I applied at Stockholm University for a bachelor in game development and discovered the world of 3D art and never looked back.

In 12th grade a classmate of mine mentioned she wanted to become a concept artist. To me, that was a whole new type of job I hadn't even considered was a thing. But of course it was! So I started studying game development at soon as I could, and have pursued the dream of becoming a concept artist since!

From a young age, I've held a deep fascination for games and movies. Later, I discovered that it was possible to pursue a career as an artist and collaborate with other like-minded creative people to create the next generation of entertainment.
