Round of applause for our sponsors

I remember on rainy days during Primary School we weren't allowed outside for breaks. Instead they'd keep us inside, give us a pink art book and some pencils. I would always get very excited on rainy days. I've always been creative, but it wasn't until college that my passion for art was reignited. I realised that I had the potential to become a concept artist. Its my purpose to pursue a career that can allow me to express my creativity.

I have always been fascinated with how video games are able to combine the artistry of creating a fictional meaningful world with the engagement of an enjoyable challenge (gameplay).

In high school, I enjoyed making some images in Photoshop. Then I came across modelling software and started to enjoy modelling.

I have always known I wanted to do something creative but it was playing Sony Santa Monica's God of War that secured my passion for making games.

I first got into fashion at the age of 15, although back then I was still far from considering the pursuit of a career within the industry. With time, I realised that I was extremely passionate about fashion design, which led to me applying to UCA Epsom for BA Fashion. Currently, I am a first-year student and have had a little bit under a year of experience working with CLO3D, as I believe that such software is the future of clothing manufacture and fashion design.

As a child I played a lot of games, and from that early age I enjoyed drawing. I began just drawing characters from games I would play, and imagining words of my own which I would bring to life in paper. So as I grew, it became obvious that this is what I was passionate about, so when I learned that being a person who draws, develops and populates worlds as a career, I began working towards it.

In my final year of Fashion Textiles at the University for the Creative Arts where just over a year ago I discovered a passion for digital garment creation using 3D software. Alongside my studies of fashion and printed textiles, i have been developing my 3D digital fashion skills to create a digital twin collection of my final graduate garments.

In 2016 I began networking with various digital artists around the world and quickly decided that this would be the best path for me!

I really love games, and movies. And when i was high school student, i watched game cinematic movie for the last of us 1, and it was incredible and fantastic. This experience was turning point in my life for the first time.

When I was in my teenage years, I became fascinated with video games, and how they were made, though the first seeds of that were planted at a younger age, when I sent a crudely-drawn design to LucasArts in the USA.

When I realised how much other people liked my work, I wanted to share that further.

Growing up with Video games such as Halo and Assassins Creed has inspired me to create worlds and experiences that others might enjoy. Art has always been a passion of mine but Video Games are where my journey lies.

It is tricky to say when I first realised, but I can say when I first was introduced to the power of video games as a medium. My real experience was with LittleBigPlanet in my youth, a game that pushed creativity, collaboration, and just sharing your fun with others. The fact this video game gave me the power to create content for others, just as I played through LittleBigPlanet was so surreal for me. That is when I knew how powerful the creative media can be, and I haven't let go since.

I bought the artbook for the game Alice: Madness Returns after playing it and loved seeing the development and art behind making the game. It made me want to be apart of that process.

When I first started getting invested in drawing and being a creative, the usual story. Ive kept a broad mind on what I've wanted to do or become, and have slowly been narrowing it down to something I know is right for me and works.

Growing up I always wanted to be a vet. I studied sciences and math, I hated them with a passion but I was set on my goal. In 2016 I had a major surgery which forced me to miss my finals. For a long time I felt lost. I would sit and paint, craft. I was never particularly good at it but I enjoyed it. That's when I discovered TurboSquid. I loved seeing the models people made. That summer, 2018, I purchased a pack of Maya/Blender courses online, I enrolled into university and my journey began.

At the age of 12 I got inspired by anime, winx and witch comic books to create something of my own. It has been more than 10 years since my hobbys have gotten me into art, creative thinking and games.

I realised this when I realised I like being an entertainer, I like making people laugh and telling them stories. game design is like making a playground for audiences to have fun in.
