Stylized Airplane

This stylized airplane was created for the Game Art course at DAE Howest.

For modeling and unwrapping the airplane I used 3Ds Max.  Afterwards I handpainted the textures in Photoshop.

Moonstone Bow

The purpose of this next project was to create a weapon in the style of World of Warcraft.

First, I drew some thumbnails. I selected 3 favorites (image below) and from these thumbnails I chose nr. 3.

Below are a few color studies I made for the bow. Eventually I chose to paint my bow with the colors from the 2nd color study.

Finally, I turned my 2D design into a low poly 3D model.

Moonstone Bow without pedestal: 2.2k tris. Modeled and unwrapped in Maya. Handpainted textures were painted in Photoshop.

This is all for now, I enjoyed working on these projects a lot.
