The Reality of Snowville
Stories circulate that snow leopard is a snow chef. But it turns out to be a lie . Snow Leopard Emerald the ii rules one of the most austere lands.
Update - 1 May 2020
My final version of Snow"ville" up to the deadline. Critiques welcome. Try to travel into the world as a viewer and visit each location. Let me know what you wish to see there, how you wish to go about this world.
final thought: Ancient tibetan boy monks guarding snow leopards, or snow leopards guarding boy monks.
Update - 29 Apr 2020
Zooming in to a part of the scene that really matters . Correct the perspectives. Here I chose 3 point as it best shows the narrative
Update - 28 Apr 2020
now I really want to think about WHO lives here , "protects" here, or snow leopard protecting "whom". I've decided YOUTHFUL looking monks. inherited emerald eyes of the leopards. Everyone has emerald-ish eyes.
Even though each person LOOKS young, some can be 1000+ years old, maybe 2000, 3000. But everyone's stature and visage will remain around 4-6 years old, the prime years of "innocence and creativity". having painted a character or WHO lives there, will give me a good idea next of what colors to use, how to balance ratio of the figures to the scene , as well as the mood
Update - 27 Apr 2020
ok wow, now we are finally getting SOMEwhere. ratios, perspectives, we have to worry about, and narrative, narrative
Update - 26 Apr 2020
Iteration #3. Ok! I have dutifully added a lot more details. Sore right arm. Gonna stop right here for now. Emerald-Yellow diamonds? Definitely longevity orange trees. Tibetan warrior monks as guards everywhere. Temple, residence - dark red and emerald combinations.
Update - 26 Apr 2020
So for my first entry, I just worked from my head of what kind of a scene I wanted. This second round, I wanted to concretize my idea. I also wanted a much more zoomed out look. I researched snow mountains from Peru to Italy to china. and now this is looking a bit more believable for me. I'm not sure if I'm going to put sabertooth icicles back with cave.. hm.. . I also decided not to have foreground "player" character at all because once the player character is there, we lose that sense that this place is distant and mysterious.
