Inspired by Cornish Mythology, Morvoren is a mermaid who encounters a Cornish Piskie guiding her through an abandoned mineshaft/ pirate cove to restore the stolen shrine piece from the pirates who appear to be long dead. This starts her journey into the rediscovery of Cornish Folklore...

ENVIRONMENT
The environments range from a pond room to an old mining area left behind, to an abandoned pirate cove to a magical shrine missing a small stone to make it complete.
The pirates long ago discovered this very cave and stumbled upon the shrine above. Seeing the glowing stone in arms reach they mistook the stone as treasure and tried to steal it away, but the mythos called Knockers were upset with this and collapsed the caves and tunnels, and tied the pirates in cages for their feeble attempts.
Morvoren finds herself in this cave and is guided by a Piskie to restore life to the shrine.

CHARACTER
'Morvoren' is Cornish for Mermaid. And she is half human, half mermaid. She has tentacle hair, seaweed loincloth, a shell bra and hardened scales for protection around her feet and hips. Breathing through her gills underwater, and is decorated in delicate pearls and jewellery from her home country 'Lyonesse' in the sea.
Her character and this game was inspired by the Cornish Tale: 'Mermaid of Zennor'
