So, the concept is that different country cuisine been stirring and ingredient been mix and match in a skillet to made skillet built, a casual fine dining restaurant with fusion cuisine.
SKILLET
Skillet is a casual fine dining restaurant come with modern European cuisine. The owner Raymond Tham collaborate with groups of friends who love to dine and travel to open Skillet. Skillet ideas is to mix and match european-asian cuisines making fusion of malaysian & international flavours. Every season mixing different country cuisine with malaysia ingredients to make an unique fusion.
Project Brief
This project is to design a fine dining restaurant for Skillet at P1-1, Jalan Ipoh, Bamboo Hills, Off Lebuhraya Duta-Ulu Kelang, Taman Bamboo, Segambut, 51200 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. The built up area size is 5387 sqft. The design is more to modern luxury concept style, it will be dark colour and with sharp colour on furnishing.

Outdoor Dining Area
The Outdoor Dining is blends sophistication with natural elements. Outdoor Dining is a basic requirement of Skillet. Skillet is a casual fine dining area which having fine dining cuisines but in a casual setting.
Lobby
The Lobby & Waiting Area providing guests with a luxurious & inviting space that anticipates the exceptional dining experience that awaits them. A fine dining Lobby Area serves as the initial point of contact for guests, setting the tone for overall dining experience.
Staircase Area
Staircase Area is to serves as a transitional space, it connecting different levels. It seamlessly blend elegance,functionality and aethetic appeal. This Staircase Area setting is notjust a means of trvel and access to different level of Skillet, it’s also to create an inviting, aethetically pleasing space that contributes to luxurious and refined dining experience. It designed with a custom-made chandelier for guests to take photo and check in social media, this could help for Skillet’s business through the interior design.

Designed for diner to make up and vanity.
Bar Area
The Bar Area is a space that with a relaxed ambiance to offer guests an upscale yet welcoming place to pre-dinner drinks or a standalone social experience. Guests can indulge in premium beverages,socialize and enjoy the ambiance before or after their dining experience with Skillet.
Dining Area
Designed for customer to having fine dine.
VVIP Room
Designed for family gathering or company gathering.
Gather Dining Area
Gather Dining is an area with 3 set of 4 seater dining usually for friend gathering or companies gathered. It’s an intimate and sophisticated setting for small groups to
dine and socialize comfortably. In Skillet. this area are more often been full as it’s a casual fine dining restaurant, it usually first choice of small groups of friend who want to have fine dining cuisine by in casual setting.
Couple DIning
The Couple Dining Area providing a comfortable space for couples to enjoy a high quality dining experience without the formality of traditional fine dining setting. This area come with 3 set of exquisite 2 seater dining table and with modern pendant light on top of each table. The chair using color flash between white fabric and dark wine red fabric.
Check In Area
The Check In Area is an instagrammable or photogenic spot, it’s to enhance the guest experience and encourage social media sharing. It designed to provide a visually appealing & memorable backdrop for guests to capture and share their dining experiences, it contributing to Skillet’s onine presence & guest engagement
Couple Room
The Couple Room is a private dining room, it offer a an intimate, exclusive and romantic experience for couple guests. Is a space where couples can share an exceptional dining experience or celebrate special moments. It designed with a custom made love shaped pendant and ceiling with fiber optic design. A long tabl concept with red cloth on top and also a series of formal fine dining decoration item.
