Art Basel 2022
In this project I will show how Art Basel can be an immersive experience by introducing a character dashing through a painting and installations to reach Art Basel. I will introduce scale by making the gorilla small. I will implement line weight by varying the width of the paint strokes and paint splatters that the gorilla will run on. This is meant to show how someone's eyes travel across in a painting or installation. The effect of this is coming together at this event to have a conversation. I applied a variety of techniques and incorporated animated textures for continuity. The animated texture is intended to resemble vintage film. This was also the first project that I worked in 2.5 D.
