Array- Colors for communication
Array is a wearable device designed to aid individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in understanding emotions and improving communication skills. Inspired by an autistic roommate's struggles, it uses customizable LED color cues on a flexible bracelet, enhancing inclusivity and connection in social interactions.
As project lead for Array, I led the team's progress, developing the concept using insights gained from my autistic roommate's experiences. I managed deadlines, conducted user research and testing, and also led the creation of 3D models and renderings. My role was vital in achieving Array's mission of improving communication for people with autism spectrum disorder.
Tadiwa Barwa's role was to develop the visuals for this project
Darcy Kelley's role was to develop the Packaging for the product.
