Concept art I did of a story based on a French general who only has horrible plans.

Here are some illustrations I did for my story.
The story is about a French general going into battles to get back his lands. Small problem, he only has terrible plans and throws his soldiers like pawns. Even with his plans, he wins all his batlles due to pure luck and so continue on his war.
Some research I did, I started with the main character. At first he was nowhere near a fish, he became a blobfish when I was going for an angry but dumb character and that's where the face of the blobfish appeared. His soldiers were done after so I started right with the fish appearance.
Final concepts, I tried to really push the sliminess in the characters.

A vehicle design, staying in the fish theme, he goes faster when his belly burns.
