by OliverBenedettiYu on 27 Apr 2024 for Rookie Awards 2024

For my entry to The Rookie Awards 2024, I made one stylized character, one stylized animal, and a weapon. I focus on following a concept to game-ready model, sculpting and texturing.

First portfolio piece for The Game Assembly. My goal was to follow a character concept, make it game-ready, and follow the art style of the game Wayfinders. Time spent seven weeks, of which six weeks of seven was Halftime. I wanted to challenge myself to make a more hard surface in Zbrush and understand the workflow from sculpt to texture low poly. Thanks to my classmates, teachers, and people from the industry for valuable feedback and pushing it to the result it is now.

The amazing Shuohan makes very cool character concept.
